Biography:
Gillis has conditional status on the Nationwide Tour for 2012 and will also hold membership on the Canadian Tour. His best finish on the CANTOUR came at the 2010 Canadian Tour Championship where he finished T-2. Cracked the Top 10 four times in 2009: Players Cup (T-8), Tour Championship (T-8), Seaforth Country Classic (T-9), and Riviera Maya Open (T-10)... Made a big jump forward that year moving from 100th to 21st on the Order of Merit... His best finish in his rookie 2008 campaign was a T-15 in Seaforth where he shot rounds of 67-64-65-71... Won the 2008 Starfire Open... Shot 76-69-77-71-293 at the 2007 Fall Qualifying School to earn non-exempt status in 2008... Won the 2007 B.C. Amateur... 2007 Oregon Amateur Medalist... 2006 Oregon Stroke Play Champion... 2006 Wolverine Invitational Champion... Won the 2006 Pacific Northwest Golf Association Public Links... 2006 Oregon Amateur Champion... 2006 Oregon Golf Association Player of the Year... 2006 Pacific Northwest Golf Association Player of the Year...
