Biography:
Made four cuts in six events in 2011, with his
best finish a T-10 at the Tour Championship...
Best finish in 2010 was a T-7 at the Tour
Championship... Collected T-4s at the 2009
Times Colonist Open and the Mexican PGA
Championship... Also finished 5th at the 2009
Players Cup... Won three times in 2008 on his
way to winning the ROLEX Player of the Year and
the Order of Merit: the Stockton Classic (his first
Canadian Tour title in a playoff over Tommy
Barber), the Corona Mazatlan Mexican PGA
Championship, and the TELUS Edmonton Open
where he aced the fourth hole in the final
round... The victories in Stockton and Mazatlan
came back-to-back... His nine other Top-10s in
2008 included the Players Cup and the Seaforth
Country Classic (T-2s), the Tour Championship
(T-4), the Greater Vancouver Charity Classic
(5th), the Spring International and the San Luis
Potosi Open (T-8), and the Iberostar Riviera Maya
Classic and the Jane Rogers Championship (both
T-9)... Had a solid 2007 Canadian Tour campaign
with consecutive 2nd place finishes in California
at the San Jose International where he lost playoff
to Adam Bland and the Northern California
Classic... Finished 3rd at the Tour Championship
and T-4 at the Greater Vancouver Charity
Classic... Remarkably consistent all season as
worst round of year was 75 in second round of
the Mazatlan Classic... Notched a pair of top-10s
in 2006 campaign including season-best T-7 at
the BCR Challenge... Led for the opening three
rounds of the 2005 California Winter Qualifying
School, eventually finishing fifth... Other wins as
a pro: the 2009 Golden State Tour Championship
and the 2007 Coyote Creek Open... Was runner-
up at the 2004 San Francisco Open... Named a
First-Team All Pac-Ten member in 2003... Also
won the Oregon Duck Invitational that same
season... has also spent time on the PGA TOUR
and the Nationwide Tour.
