Came in 2nd at the 2008 Sport Frances Open, the 2009 season-opening event... In 2008, he won two of his first three events: the Riviera Maya Open (in his first Canadian Tour start) and the Times Colonist Open (in a playoff over James Lepp)... Ended up T-2 at the Desjardins Montreal Open after losing to Graham DeLaet in a 3-man playoff... Finished T-2 at the Seaforth Country Classic and T-8 at the Tour Championship to round out his International Rookie of the Year season...
