Rules:

Play is governed by the Royal Canadian Golf Association's Rules of Golf, and its Decisions, the Canadian Tour's Local Rules and Conditions of the Competition (Hard Card) as well as this Qualifier's Notice to Competitors (Supplementary Local Rules). |
New Groove Rules:
|
The New Grovve Rules will not be a Condition of Competition at 2012 Tournament Qualifiers or 2012 Qualifying Schools. Competitors should be aware however that those that earn a spot in the tournament proper must use equipment that conforms to the Groove and Punch Marks Specifications effective from January 1, 2010 as indicated on the 2012 Canadian Tour Local Rules and Conditions of Competition (Hard Card) during all competition rounds. |

Entry fee is payable online or by money order, VISA, or MasterCard. Payment is payable to the "Canadian Tour" |
Tournament Entry Fee:
|
Tour Member/Affiliate/Amateur - $450.00 CAD
Non-Member Professional - $550.00 CAD
For successful qualifiers; the Tournament Qualifying Fee will be applied to the Tournament Entry Fee. |

Entries Close:

Entries must be received by the Canadian Tour Office prior to the maximum field size being reached or by 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday June 29th, whichever is earlier. Incomplete, late or telephone entries will not be accepted. The Canadian Tour is not responsible for declined credit cards or the timely performance of Canada Post, the U.S. Post Office or any other delivery service. Priority will be given to Canadian Tour Members, then Affiliate Members and then to Non-Members based upon the order in which they are received. |

Starting times for the Qualifier will NOT be sent. However, starting times will be available on the Canadian Tour website: www.cantour.com on Saturday June 30th. Tee times will also be available by contacting Dakota Dunes Golf Links on Saturday June 30. |

18 Holes Sroke Play Competition to be played on Monday July 2nd. |
Appearance:
|
A player must, at all times, present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal grooming, as determined by the Tour, while carrying out his duties as a professional golfer at a golf course or at a tournament function. During such time a Player cannot wear denim-type jeans, shorts or t-shirts (includes official practice rounds). In addition, a Player must, at all times, adhere to golf club dress codes and clubhouse policies that may be in effect. |
| Conduct: |
Players must conduct themselves in a professional manner. |
Golf Carts:
|
Motorized Golf carts are NOT permitted. Players and caddies must walk at all times, except when permitted by the Rules Committee to ride. Players or caddies my make use of a pull cart if available. Players are not required to have a caddie. |
| Refund Policy: |
No refunds, credits or transfers will be give after the Entry Deadline (unless the field size is full). |
Practice:

Practice rounds can be booked in advance through Dakota Dunes Pro-Shop 1-877-414-4653. |
Qualifying Spots:
|
There will be a minimum number of four (4) qualifying spots and two (2) alternates. Any ties for the final qualifying spot(s) will be settled by a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. Ties for an alternate positions will also be broken by a playoff for ranking purposes. |

The Dakota Dunes Casino Open will be played July 5th - July 18th at Dakota Dunes Golf Links. |
